Tour Overview:
This safari will give a wonderful travel experience as you will visit the two national park in Burundi. First you will visit the Kibira National park- the home of primates in Burundi and other game like the buffaloes, hare antelopes and a variety of bird species like the grey Turaco, Red chested sun bird and many more. Finally you will go to Ruvubu National Park- the largest park in Burundi covering 502 km2. This park is located in the north east of the country and it’s a home of very many striking wild like hippopotamus, buffaloes, crocodiles lions leopards money and also very many beautiful flowers and a variety of bird species.

Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Bujumbura Cultural City Tour
First you will go visit the snake and culture museum, the Islam cultural center, the good market and the craft shop. Then in the after lunch you will head to Lake Tanganyika the most popular tourist destination where you will go to the saga beach for swimming and relaxation.

Day 2: Drive to Kibira National Park
Early in the morning after breakfast you will head to Kibira national park in the north west of the country near the Congo basin. You will do a guided walk or better yet go for chimps trekking and if you will be able to view a lot chimpanzees, white and black monkeys, red colobus, buffaloes, hare and a variety of bird species and of course experience the Wilderness at its best .

Day 3: visit Ruvubu National Park
The final you will visit Ruvubu National Park in the morning for game viewing as you will encounter wildlife like the hippopotamus, buffalo, crocodiles, leopard, monkeys, antelope and lion. Bird lovers will have a marvelous time in the Ruvubu National Park as more than 425 species of birds thrive in this park making it all the more attractive. Then you head back to Bujumbura city.
