Tour Overview:
This safari starts in Burundi and ends in Rwanda. It will give a tremendous travel experience as you will tour around two wonderful countries in the East African region, you will first have a tour around Burundi as you will have a city tour around visiting some of the historical place around the city of Bujumbura like the snake and cultural museum, explorers Memorial and lake Tanganyika the most interesting destination in the city. Then go to Kibira national park where you will encounter variety of wildlife like the buffaloes, chimpanzees, monkeys, hares and variety of bird species.
Then cross to Rwanda where you will take a city tour since it is mountainous you will reward your sight with the beautiful scenery as you visit different sites in Kigali like the national museum in Gisozi, the genocide memorial site and also enjoy the night life as you spend a night in Kigali. Then go to volcanoes national park- the park famous for inhabiting around 300 mountain gorillas and other wildlife.

Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: City Tour, Bujumbura
Our professional and hospitable driver will pick you up from Bujumbura International Airport. Then you will take a half day city tour as visit the snake and cultural museum and you will have lunch at the saga resort beach restaurant at lake Tanganyika- the most interesting destination in Bujumbura as you will have a sun bath, swimming and also do some beach games.

Day 2: Drive to Kibira National Park:
After breakfast, you will drive to Kibira national park where you will have a guided nature walk as you will encounter many wildlife species like the chimpanzees, red tailed colobus, black and white monkeys, buffaloes, hares, and very many bird species. Have lunch at any fancy restaurant near the park. Then travel back to Bujumbura.

Day 3: Cross to Rwanda; Butare, National Museum:
Very early in the morning you will drive northeast wards through the hills. You will enter Rwanda through Butare as you will visit the superb national museum of Rwanda which houses the finest ethnographic collection in east Africa. This exhibits the traditional artifacts of Rwanda. Later you will proceed to Kigali.

Day 4: Kigali city tour
After breakfast, you will go for a city tour around Kigali, you will visit interesting and heritage centers like Kigali memorial Centre one of the famous place where genocide of Rwanda in 1996 took place, Ntarama church, Nyabugogo Marche market, Ikaze show room for craft shopping and many more.

Day 5: Drive to volcanoes National Park
At the convenient time, you will travel to Kinigi (volcanoes national park). After lunch you will go for golden monkeys trekking as you will have a wonderful time with these unique monkeys for a sometime as stipulated by the park committee and also take a forest walk.

Day 6: volcanoes national park, Gorilla tracking
Early in the morning, you first have a brief lecture about the gorilla and tracking, then head to the jungle for tracking. You will go with packed lunch since you will spend 2-8 hours tracking down the gorilla and you will be given 1 hour to be with them for conservation purposes. You will have an experience to remember once you interact with these wonderful creatures. In the evening you may opt to go for a village walk where you will entertained by the tremendous traditional dances.

Day 7: Return to Kigali
