Tour overview:
This safari starts in Burundi to Rwanda and then it ends in Uganda. It will give you a memorable travel experience as you will travel to two most gifted countries. This will lead you to Burundi as you do a cultural city tour. Burundi well known for its unique and interesting historical and cultural sites like the snake and culture museum, the Islam culture center, the Gasimbo and the national museum in Gitega. While in Burundi you will also visit the Kibira national park the most popular park and the home of primates in Burundi like the chimpanzees, the black and white monkeys, and the red colobus. You will also view a variety of bird species in the park. You will also enjoy the template cool climate of Burundi.
You will cross over Rwanda another interesting nation where you will visit volcanoes national park –the biggest national park in Rwanda where you will do gorilla tracking. Then head to Uganda- the pearl of Africa where you will visit Bwindi forest national park the home of gorillas and you will have an opportunity have an opportunity of tracking the only mountain gorillas in the world.
NB: The safari starts in Burundi Bujumbura and ends in Uganda Kampala.

Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive in Bujumbura – cultural city tour
In the morning our driver or guide will pick at the airport, then take you for a cultural city tour as you will visit the snake and culture museum, the Islam culture centre, go around the good market and the craft shops. Later you will go to lake Tanganyika- the main tourist destination in Bujumbura for relaxation and sightseeing.

Day 2: Drive to Kibira national park – forest guided walk:
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will drive to Kibira national park where you will do a forest guided walk. You will reward you sight with the view of very many wonderful game like the chimpanzees, the black and white monkeys, red colobus, the hares buffaloes and a variety of bird species like the majestic grey turaco.

Day 3: Cross to Rwanda (Volcanoes National Park):
After taking an early morning breakfast, you will set off for Rwanda. As you will travel the rolling hills in Burundi and Rwanda the view of the beautiful scenery awaits. Have lunch on the way that is Butare or Kigali depending on the time. Then proceed to Ruhegiri (volcanoes National Park).

Day 4: Volcanoes National Park – Gorilla tracking:
After breakfast you will go for gorilla tracking in the forests of volcanoes national park. First you will be briefed on how to track down the gorillas and you will have to go with your lunch packed since tracking is an unpredictable activity which entirely depends on the movement of the gorillas and you will spend a maximum of 1 hour with the giant gorillas due to conservation.

Day 5: Travel to Bwindi Forest National Park (Uganda):
Early in the morning you will set off for Bwindi national park. As you travel you will be able to reward sight with the beautiful scenery as you look at the wonderful hills covered with equatorial vegetation.

Gorilla Forest Camp, or Mahogany Springs or Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge (Luxury),
Gorilla Mist Camp or Silver Back Lodge (Mid-range),

Day 6: Bwindi Forest National Park- Gorilla Tracking:
Early in the morning, you will head to the jungle as you will first be briefed about the gorilla tracking. Then proceed for your adventure. You are advised to take packed lunch since this task is unpredictable as it may take around 3-8 hours or even more. This is one thrill of an experience as you interact with these wonderful creatures. You may also opt to take a community walk as you will be able to be entertained by the traditional dancers if time permitting.
