Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Volcanoes National park.
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be received by your tour Driver/guide and go for a city tour where you will visit the genocide museum, Local markets among others. You will later drive northwards to Volcanoes national park in Ruhengeri, a home to 360 Mountain Gorillas. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge/La palme hotel/Muhabura Hotel.
Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Tracking and afternoon nature/cultural walk.
This is the day for gorilla tracking adventure. Assemble at the park headquarters for a briefing in the morning together with your trekking gear and drinking water and ascend in the Volcanoes national park to track the gorillas. In the evening, you may go for community walk to Iby’wachu. Dinner and overnight stay(Day 1).
Day 3: Golden Monkey tracking and transfer back to Kigali.
In the morning, you will go to the park headquarters for briefing, and go for golden monkey tracking. On return, you will drive back to Kigali, and do city tour. Visit the genocide memorial, local market,(In case it you missed it on Day 1)Later, transfer to the airport for your departure flight if on schedule.
